Let it go

Im chilling at home alone and appreciating it so much. Been out and about and done some new things today but I'll get into that later.
People have begun to call and thats wonderful. Im holding the rattan for a girl till payday. I definitely know how that is!!! Just watched a tatted dude and his sister leave with the fridge and left me with $$$. Gotta feel good about that, right?
A lady called about the DR table. After calling her and leaving message, I guess she'll be calling soon to set up a time/date to view. After looking at tables in various stores the other day, 75 bucks is a sweet deal! hmmm, I need to tighten up the chairs before she comes too.

I have a couple items im waiting on to post-the couch, the bed, and the desk. This is definitely happening!

So I decided that I was going to the GOODWILL. I see shirts that are good BUT the sleeves dont go all the way down to my wrists and that could potentially pose a problem. To avoid all that, Im trying to go over with a few shirts and hopefully get to wear some abaya's to work. This is where my new experience begins. . .

Ive gone in goodwill before. They often have great things for my classroom but,for some reason, the clothes thing has been something Ive not been interested in at all. For one, the smell doesnt make me want to rifle through clothes that are too packed on racks and who have been worn by only God knows who. After talking to someone else about it, I also realized that I don't like digging anywhere-even when the clothes are new BUT I was still turned off by the idea and the action.
So Im in there and I see 2 skirts that were great for wearing there and I got them for about 5 bucks each (actually a little less),and then I got some long sleeve shirts. I got everything in an XL if possible because I wasnt about to try the items on. But I can say that I got a LOT for 34.00. About 6 shirts and 2 skirts. Can't beat that, lol. After awhile, the smell was gone-or I'd gotten used to it I should say. I wish I had a washer in my apt!!!

So, technically, that was the beginning of my new experiences.

Now Im going to go and iron my clothes so that I can go to the flea market next weekend to sell every article for $4.00 and as I type this I think about how ironic (and perhaps hypocritical) that is. OH WELL

C'est la vi

juxtaposed

should I? shouldnt I? THAT is the question... horror stories, complaints, regrets in opposition with people who speak as if they have no plans on returning to the previous dwelling place. What to believe? Are the kids hellians or little angels? Is the classroom fully stocked or bare? Will you have admin support, admin indifference,or admin from Hades? Sadly, noone can answer this question and not because of "a lack of freedom of speech". Its because everything-in every country-is subjective. And because if one is going to pack up and live in another country for a couple years, this would be one of the more difficult places to do so as you are used to life thats quite different from being here. I can agree 100% with some of the posters of TA/FB. "if the idea of teaching in an inner city school doesnt suite your fancy, steer clear of here". And thats not to compare the two because nothing really compares to this place but there are some similarities (even if

Moroccanoil Soap

If youve read this blog for any length of time, Im sure youve gotten your laughs off my Moroccan bath experience. As crazy as that was for me, i believe I will be going to get one again, though at a much better establishment! Today, I ran across this product  And while waiting in line for a price, an Arabic lady gave it the once over, looked inside, and nodded her head in approval of what was inside. After seeing it was only 9.50 dhm, I got another. Once I try it, I will certainly give a review! In the meantime, here is information about the product-or products like this: Moroccan Black Soap and How To Use It The black soap is part of the traditional hammam ritual. It is the first treatment in oriental public bath. With a texture of butter, this natural vegetable paste based with black olives is rich in vitamin E. It is obtained from a mixture of oil and crushed olives, soaked in salt and potash. In the nineteenth century it was used as a product of Dermatology and later be

This will do
