Bidet

Well this is ONE way to use it...

But I think Ill pass! lol.


Mine stays empty for the most part. No clothes, toiletries,extra stuff that has no other place,etc. And Ive been thinking of this entry off and on. Probably each time I clean the dust off it.

How many uses does this thing have? (besides the OBVIOUS!)

  • wash your feet after coming home from the beach
  • wash your unmentionables
  • clean out the mop
  • wash off the bottom of your muddy shoes (though it rarely rains so idk  how they got muddy)
  • do a quick scrub/pedi
  • let your plant soak up some water. Especially good if youll be out of town!
  • makeshift mop bucket if you dont have one
  • sit your countertop items in it while you clean the counter
  • *sigh*. thats all I can think of

What do you use YOUR bidet for??

So I just havent made it around to making a video of the place.Part of that is because my phone, which had the great camera on it,is no longer.And leave it to me to buy a cute phone with a horrible camera.yes, I have a camera with video but its just too much hassle.At least I think so. And because Im supposed to be honing my craft, I decided to post my place in pictures. Enjoy. My color palette all these switches for one little bathroom no tv. . .yet just the two of us! I love this contraption,lol and on the off times that this occurs. . . I just use my teacher dry erase marker,lmbo So,so glad to finally be clutter free! cleaning takes one day a week besides the every other day of sweeping bc its super dusty here.I have ONE pile of stuff left and thats only because I need a book shelf.Thats coming soon.

Paradise?

So Ive been thinking about a move to Reem Island  . Not because I have a bad place (I dont) or because Im in a bad location (Im not),but because we plan on being here long term and this place has much more of a home feel as there are so many amenities there. The only drawback is the the location, which is also nice as far as I know right now. Only thing is its too close to Tourist Club and thats not a place I care for too much. And if the link above doesnt convince someone maybe the future plans  will! We have all that we would need to stay there pretty much and this place has...drumroooooooollllll-CLOSETS! Once of them even a walk in. It may sound like it but I dont have my hopes up and Im not even excited about it at this point. Im just looking at my options.This would be the one and only time youd catch me living on an island. My only requirement? That I live on a  bottom lower level floor. Should be an easy enough request as most people want to be higher...

Braces in the UAE

This has been a long time coming. Ive wanted braces since forever. At home it wasnt in the budget.Here, the first year went by and I decided that if I didnt get them this year, I would probably keep putting it off. So I start the process of looking. Requirements? clean,efficient,KNOWLEDGEABLE, affordable. That was pretty much what I wanted. After some searching, I realized that I couldn't pay 25000 dirham...didn't really want to pay 14000 but would if I had to...and then I came across an  ortho place  in Dubai. hmmmmmm. Dubai? Perks were: no down payment,500 dh each visit, retainer included. I was in. So I called and went hoping against all hope that it would be more than the regular consultation because Id driven from Abu Dhabi! Fortunately, they xrayed me and told me about the process a bit.
