My gums hurt!

and its all my fault. Well, Im almost sure it is.



I went to the dentist today go get my teeth cleaned. The facility was new, nice, and clean. More importantly, there were some expats/teachers who recommended the place and said they had nice experiences there. We went and all went well. He went first and then I did. My main concern was staining on my lower teeth bc of the braces. She took care of that. I keep looking in the mirror at my teeth...they look like they did before the braces and Im so very pleased with that!!! I was worried that it wouldnt go away. My ortho just says they can be whitened afterward but I have no interest in that as my teeth dont need whitening to begin with. If I need any blending then Ill deal with that issue in the moment.

Anyway, thats the good.The bad and the ugly is that it hurt. I dont floss so thats a part of it. Parts of my mouth were very sensitive but it was because she was thorough. Ive been swishing salt water and have even taken some pain meds. Im glad I did this in the middle of tightenings.I hope the pain subsides soon. I can barely brush my teeth after meals. Honestly, I dont even want to eat for fear of staining my teeth again,lol. That didnt stop me from eating pizza for dinner though!

I would recommend this dentist to others and hope that the next time I see her, my mouth is in better condition so that it doesnt hurt as much afterward.But that all depends on me I suppose :-s


Im going to look at my white teeth and then going to bed...

Turning Tides

6 months ago I wasn't to happy with my situation. I was feeling stifled in terms of teaching time and a  host of other things and my main focus in life was to get OUT.  I must say that the year has progressed rather nicely and Im not feeling the same way about the year. Thanks to my coteacher, who understands what the kids need and provides those things even when someone says otherwise,we  are having a great year! I can't say that I would feel this way with another teacher. Our classroom runs smoothly and the kids are self sufficient. Today, two kids decided to make a book in the science center. The books were pre made with the title and had two pages for them to draw animals or write. should I? shouldnt I? THAT is the question... horror stories, complaints,regrets in opposition with people who speak as if they have no plans on returning to the previous dwelling place. What to believe? Are the kids hellians or little angels? Is the classroom fully stocked or bare?Will you have admin support, admin indifference,or admin from Hades? Sadly, noone can answer this question and not because of "a lack of freedom of speech". Its because everything-in every country-is subjective. And because if one is going to pack up and live in another country for a couple years, this would be one of the more difficult places to do so as you are used to life thats quite different from being here.
